拉莫斯自夏季离开塞维利亚之后一直赋闲在家，克鲁塞罗本想在1月份签下他，但拉莫斯开出的加码过高，让俱乐部无法承受。

进球网表示，拉莫斯向克鲁塞罗索要500万雷亚尔的月薪（约合77.35万欧元），他想要在巴西维持自己在欧洲足坛的收入，但克鲁塞罗无力承担，董事会想签他，但不会为此打破预算。目前，巴西足坛薪水最高的球员是科林蒂安的德佩，月薪大约300万雷亚尔（约合46.41万欧元）。
